Special Hunt #1 - The Egg Hunt

Special Hunt #1 - The Egg Hunt
Date: Saturday/Sunday, 4-5 April 2015 (NZT)
Time: All Day (49 hours - because Daylight Saving, that's why)

Wanted to take part in a previous hunt, but haven't been in Auckland or Wellington at the right time? Listen up!
Here's your chance to win your own Hunt Coin, while working off all that chocolate you'll be consuming. It doesn't even matter where you are in the country, or even in the world! Anyone with a Twitter account can enter!
Get your cameras ready and follow us on Twitter over the weekend for our very first Hunt Special: An egg-cellent scavenger hunt!

This weekend, I'm trying something different... it's our very first Hunt Special!
For the first time in The Hunt's short history, anyone around the world (provided they have a valid postal address and Twitter account) can win themselves their own Hunt Coin!

Grab some friends or family to solve the ten clues throughout the weekend. The quicker you can solve them and post a photo reply, the more points you'll score. Be the user with the most points* to win! Best of all, playing along is free!

Make sure your Twitter account follows @hunt_clues on Twitter to receive clues during the weekend.

How this hunt works:
  • Ten clues will be posted to the @hunt_clues Twitter feed at random times between 12:01am Saturday and 11:59pm Sunday (NZT). All the answers to the clues are real-life objects.
  • Once you solve the clue, take a picture of yourself with the actual object, and post that picture as a reply on Twitter. The quicker you do this, the more points* you'll score.
  • The photo must:
    • Be an original photo
    • Include the required object
    • Include the person that owns the Twitter account
    • Be clear enough i.e. not too blurry
    • Comply with Twitter's Terms of Service
  • At the end of the weekend, the points* are tallied, and the user with the highest score wins! It is not necessary to reply to all ten clues to win.
The Hunt Coin looks like this! You could win one for yourself!
*Interested in how the scoring system works? Check it out here. (Maths alert!)

If you have any questions about this event, please leave a comment below. I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.
This is the first time I've hosted a competition online like this so we shall see how it goes.
